MATERIAL COMPOSITION
Longwood Lounge is a 3-ply prefinished wood floor, micro-beveled on 4 sides. Brushing enhances the natural beauty of the wood grain and makes its texture perceptible to the touch. Longwood Lounge has a top noble layer of 2.5 mm oak, a middle layer of 9.5 mm fir and a bottom counterbalance layer of 2 mm also made of fir; available in 5 varnished finishes and one oiled finish where natural oil penetrates the wood pores, impregnating it against moisture and bringing out its natural characteristics.

INSTALLATION
Before laying, it is necessary to check that the subfloor is smooth, flat, compact and dry. Two methods can be used to proceed with the installation of Longwood Lounge flooring: glued installation is recommended if there is a heated subfloor because it optimizes its thermal transmission (minimal heat loss) without creating, thanks to gluing, air bubbles between the screed and the parquet. Floating installation recreates a single surface simply resting on the subfloor.

MAINTENANCE
Dry cleaning is feasible with a broom. Sand and grainy dirt are likely to ruin the floor if stepped on or dragged, so it is necessary to remove them quickly. Cleaning with detergents should be done only if the floor is very dirty; do not use detergents containing solvents, only neutral-based ones.
